Marc S. Zumberg, MD, is Associate Professor of Medicine in the division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Zumberg serves as Attending Physician at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida and Malcolm Randall VAMC, both in Gainesville.
Dr. Zumberg received both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at The University of Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed a Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship.
Dr. Zumberg is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Physicians, and the American Society of Internal Medicine. He received the University of Michigan Biomedical Summer Research Grant and Summer Research Fellowship in Neurology. Dr. Zumberg has co-authored multiple book chapters, abstracts, and articles for scientific and medical journals including the American Journal of Hematology, Archives of Internal Medicine, and Chest. He has presented at several local and national meetings.
